Special Education Secretary ∙ Maintain special education and 504 files ∙ Schedule Team meetings ∙ Track IEP review dates ∙ Evaluation packet preparation ∙ Work in multiple schools ∙ Other tasks as time permits ∙ Communication with families and explain the referral process as necessary Requirements ∙ Proficient keyboarding skills ∙ Proficient use of technology including Word and Excel, special education, and budgeting databases ∙ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills This school year position is up to 18 hours per week (6 hours at each elementary school in Westhampton, Williamsburg, Chesterfield-Goshen) Rate of Pay: Based on skills and experience starting at $20.00/hour.
