Introduction

Murray & Roberts Cementation invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Accountant Site to be placed at Ivan Plats Platreef mine, in Mokopane, Limpopo. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Manager.
The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South African (HDSA) candidates.

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

· Effective supervision of the Administrators / Clerks under area of responsibility

· Effective and timely communication of discrepancies identified
• · Liaise regularly with Management Accountants to gain understanding of contract accounting requirements

· Proactive financial risk identification and mitigation

· Maintain and update the site asset register
