Welder Fabricator

Permanent Staff | NR. Sandy.

The Company

An international engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture of special purpose machinery.

The Role

This is a position that will require an experienced Welder Fabricator to lay out and fabricate primarily stainless steel metal assemblies and weldments, ranging from small components to large complex parts.

The work will include the following:

Tig Welding Stainless Steel between 2mm and 5mm into a wide range of structures

Checking dimensions and thicknesses

Reading engineering drawings

Reworking and/or repairing welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes

Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment

The Candidate

To apply for this role, you must have

1. Fabricator welder apprenticeship or equivalent

2. Experience of Tig Welding

3. Able to read engineering drawings

4. Experience of use of lifting equipment
