Job Description:
1171 Direct Support Professional- 2 days per week Flexible hours 8 hours per week Minimum Qualifications Community based support staff person needed to work with young lady in Berkley area, helping her with various tasks including independent living tasks (cooking and laundry) Join her on community outings- shopping trips, social activities, dinner, volunteering, yoga classes and encourage relationship building.
General Description A Support Staff works in the Family Support Department within Agency with Choice, Individualized Home Supports, and Adult Companion Services.
Staff works in conjunction with supported individuals to understand their strengths, needs, and desires for services.
Staff's role is to assist the individual's participation in normative home and community-based activities, centering on the individual's person-centered goals.
