• Supervising the production process
• Providing production schedules and necessary guidelines to Production Operators
• Preparing directions for Junior Chemists/Production Operators for each step in the production process
• Reviewing documentation and ensuring all in-process checks are carried out as per the standard operating process
• Maintaining good manufacturing practices and conditions suitable for production of quality goods
• Communicating any equipment breakdown to the maintenance team
• Training Junior Chemists/Production Operators
• Checking, maintaining, sourcing, and planning sufficient and quality stock of materials and chemicals
• Developing standard operating procedures to improve efficiency
• Facilitating audits as a production team member
• Maintaining a healthy, safe and secure working environment
• Co-ordinating with the Shift Supervisor, cross-functional teams, and within the team
