Your main areas of responsibility will be:
• Manage all aspects of the Financial accounting process including statutory financial statements, key processes including provisions, decommissioning, and prepayment accounting
• Manage the fixed asset accounting process including approval of additions to fixed assets, depreciation rates and fixed asset registers
• Responsible for the Assala Gabon Controls Framework, ensuring noncompliance with controls are followed up and remedied in a timely manner
• Responsible for the account reconciliation process, ensuring that all accounts are assigned, reconciled on a timely basis and reconciling items are followed up and cleared
