BaghdadJob Scope:
The Procurement Manager is accountable to develop purchasing strategies and oversee the purchasing team in their daily activities related to order placement, pending orders and reconciliation of vendor accounts.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical and Operations
• Manage daily purchasing activities, supervise staff and allocate tasks;
• Train new employees on the purchasing process and the ERP portal (Orion);
• Share input and develop procurement strategies and best practices;
• Analyze market trends and conditions to determine current and future prices and the potential availability of products in coordination with concerned;
• Conduct necessary research and market review to continuously seek and recommend new suppliers for more efficient and cost-effective sources of products and services;
• Seek offers and proposals from different suppliers to get the best deals with the requested specifications;
