The Hotel Buyer works under the direction and the supervision of the Procurement Manager for the proper ordering, processing, and following up of hotel category items.
- Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English;
- Bachelor's degree education or relevant professional qualification;
- At least two years of experience in a Procurement department, preferably for Cruise or Cargo vessels. On-board experience is considered a plus;
- PC literacy with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and competent use of Procurement systems;
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities;
- Good understanding and adherence to expediting procedures;
- Ability to understand, analyse and challenge supplier production schedules;
- Competent in maintaining and updating data accurately;
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organised;
- Uses MSC Procurement systems to process orders in line with fleet requirements ensuring timely management of requisitions;
