An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and suitably qualified General Manager, to join a Chemicals team based in Durban.

Purpose of the job:

To ensure Chemicals work in synergy to drive and enable business strategy, growth, and sustainability through sound financial and commercial leadership, leading and managing internal teams and outsourced partners, managing risk and compliance, creating new revenue streams and driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Experiential and Educational requirements:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, education / training, and experience required for this position:
• Preferred qualification: Honors Degree.
• Relevant degree, e.g., in Chemicals, Supply Chain, Financial and/or Strategic Management.
• 5 - 8+ years middle to senior management experience with exposure to Chemical Environments.
