FoodForward SA is looking for a Fund Development Manager who will form part of the organisation’s Senior Management Team (SMT), and report directly to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities

1. Fund Development
• Develop a fund development strategy that is in line with the company strategy and ensure the proper execution of the strategy
• Prepare and update the fund development plan annually
• Fundraising / Proposals writing / Donor Prospecting – Local and International
• Donor relationship management, reporting, and stewardship
• Grow the individual giving programme
• Conceptualise, develop, and initiate new initiatives, campaigns, events etc.
• Manage and implement all projects, events, and campaigns for the year
• Maintenance of the donor data base
• Board management
• Donor base analysis
• Media interviews / relations and related
• Reporting
• Meet targets set
