Job Description

Sterilizes instruments and equipment. Cleans and sets up Operating Room theatres. Porters/positions patients, equipment and transports specimens.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications
• Grade 12 plus Medical Device Reprocessing Technician - Certificate of Achievement.

Experience

Six (6) months previous experience working in a health care environment.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
• Ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills.
• Communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of medical supplies and surgical instruments/equipment.
• Specific to RQHR: Heavy lifting required.
