We are looking to recruit as of 1st July 2024 a technical assistant (m/f/d) to join the cell service / double Habloid of KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA at our location in Einbeck, Germany. The contract is full-time, initially for two years as maternity and parental leave cover.

Your tasks:
• Carry out all sterile laboratory work steps in connection with the production of doubled haploid plants by using tissue culture procedures
• Active involvement in the in-vitro plant sampling process for ploidy and marker analysis
• Support the maintenance of the plant material in the short and long term storage
• Support the preparation of solutions and gels for plant cell and tissue culture and microbiology
• Documentation of all work steps by using LIMS applications
• Support other processes within cell service

Your profile:
• Completed training in the field of natural sciences/horticulture is an advantage
