An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to work as part of the Public Health Team (Moray) as an Area Public Health Co-ordinator. The post will hold a specific portfolio relating to the public health priorities, planning the implementation of recommendations while taking account of national and local strategic priorities.

The Area Public Health Co-ordinator will hold a level of autonomy, providing specialist advice/public health guidance and leading on the effective planning, development, implementation and evaluation of evidence based health improvement programmes at a locality and Moray wide level.

Excellent communication skills are required to work effectively with a wide range of health and social care colleagues, multi-agency groups/networks, as well as engage with people in the local community to undertake public health activities that aim to reduce health inequalities and improve health and well being.
