Job Overview

The opportunity has arisen for a Therapy Assistant at Band 4 level to work as part of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Teams. This post will support developments within the Community Resource Teams in Area West.

The successful candidate will form an essential part of the community resource teams. They will support the delivery of a high standard Physiotherapy and/or Occupational Therapy service within the community, following intervention and rehabilitation programmes, both within the step down/up beds and in patients homes.

In addition, the post will involve close liaison and work with colleagues who focus on admission avoidance and discharge facilitation, as well as longer term rehabilitation and support the in-patient staff both on an out-reach and in-reach basis within the community rehab beds.
