Duties
• Serves as the Small Business Specialist in the Command's Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). Promotes small business and small disadvantaged business opportunities.
• Maintains liaison with technical and procurement personnel to acquire an advanced awareness of occupational expertise required for future acquisitions.
• Search for qualified firms by actively participating in procurement information meetings, business opportunity meetings, clinics, symposia, etc., to ascertain what products or services are offered by Industry.
• Work directly with contracting and mission partners providing small business participation advice and information on market research, acquisition plans, and acquisition strategy documents.
• Reviews, analyze and process small business coordination records and subcontracting plans ensuring conformance with small business regulatory guidance.
