Duties

Typical Work Assignments Include
• Provides technical advice on financial management/accounting matters and directs, implements, coordinates, and oversees a variety of complex accounting policies and audit-related activities across Agency components.
• Conducts risk analyses over business operations and develops and executes tests of design and operating effectives of internal controls over financial reporting and operations on behalf of the Agency.
• Interprets accounting policies and assesses the implication on existing operations and corrective actions plans across the Agency.
• Provides technical, professional accounting advice by recommending solutions to address accounting and financial management problems across the Agency. Makes recommendations to financial policies, issuances, and directives as a result.
