To oversee and manage the on-time deliveries of feed to the company’s customers on a daily basis and be responsible for facilitating the maintenance and upkeep of a fleet of trucks.

Administration

Uphold shift roster for drivers two weeks in advance

Responsible for risk and safety assessment for on farm deliveries and to ensure that procedures are adhered to. Ensure silo inspection on farms are done and documented.

To follow the correct procedures and processes regarding procurement

Submit driver’s schedules for payment to HR by the 16th of each month

Fleet Management

Schedule deliveries daily, in conjunction with the customer liaison administrator.

To maintain an efficient and reliable fleet of trucks by ensuring that the maintenance of the trucks is planned according to schedule to avoid unplanned downtime

To maximize the efficiencies of the trucks and drivers by utilizing the VehicleTracking system and to continually evaluate the driver’s performance.
