The Project Manager in in charge of the execution of all the initiatives for the direct material cost-out activities in the cluster. and is responsible of:
• Lead a project portfolio of cost reduction initiatives for the direct material in the assigned plant.
• Develop, sell, lead and execute cost reduction projects in a cross-functional environment aligned to the North America region strategy. Initiatives include change of supplier, quality & value engineering changes, supply base optimization and supply risk mitigation among others.
• Coach, disrupt and lead the procurement organization in the project management/agile best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the correct deployment of the general Purchasing Strategy of cost reduction initiatives in the cluster.
