Process all reservation requests, changes andcancellations received by phone, fax or mail. Determine guestbooking needs, select appropriate room type, and verify room typeavailability and price. Explain the warranty, special rate andcancellation policies to callers. Accommodate and document specialrequests. Answer questions about the property'sfacilities/services and room accommodations. Follow sellingtechniques to maximize revenue. Communicate information regardingassigned VIP reservations. Enter and access data into thereservation system. Respond to any challenges encountered inaccommodating room requests by contacting the appropriateindividual or department. Supervise the accuracy of room blocks andreservations. Enter group room listings using reservation systems,review room groups to maintain the required number of roomsavailable and maintain organized files for all groups.
