Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Design Team Leader will manage a number of NPI (New Product Introduction) teams through the whole product life cycle. The successful candidate will be an expert in product and systems design and definition processes and will have extensive experience in successfully managing multidisciplinary engineering teams in complex project environments.

The Design Team Leader will integrate efforts between engineering disciplines, programmes, manufacturing, supply chain and quality to ensure that the teams meet Customer and stakeholders requirements (safety, functional specifications, quality, cost, schedule).

Simply put, you make it as easy as possible for your Team to do their job, work better with cross functional teams by communicating the workload, expectations and way things should be done clearly so all involved can deliver their best work and be engaged in the projects they're working on.
