The Design Engineer – Supervisor is a supervisory position responsible for engineering work related to the planning, design, and construction of Public Works programs and capital improvement projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: leading, managing, and directing the work of assigned employees in design, survey, and material testing disciplines, conducting complex engineering calculations to determine compliance with local, federal, and state requirements, leading, managing, designing, and coordinating public infrastructure projects and completing engineering administrative functions. This position will collaborate with other city departments and divisions and represent the City positively in relationships with developers, consultants, citizens and other agencies. While primarily in the office, the Design Engineer Supervisor will conduct site inspections and reviews. More Detail
