Introduction

My client is engaged in the recovery of chrome from aggregates utilising a wash process. The final product is sold to various independents and is exported. It is a new business and requires a Manager with an entrepreneurial flair to establish systems, protocols, procedures and work instructions which enable the measurement of cost and production.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Back-end office establishment and maintenance
• Multi-faceted support to operations
• Responsible for the management of creditors and debtors
• Management and reporting of cost against budget
• CAPEX planning and motivation
• Ensure legal engagement of labour and shop-floor compliance with SHEQ legislation
• Ensure the various contracts are enforceable in law
• Identify and manage the risk
• Resolve commercial queries with clients
• Procure services to receive feedstock
