Our client based in Visp (Switzerland) is looking for Laboratory Manager (permanent opportunity) to be part of the environmental monitoring (EM) and utility monitoring (UM) team. You will be responsible for a team and for ensuring all EM and UM sample processes are managed in accordance to defined procedures and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and supervise a team of laboratory technicians / samplers
• Supporting quality deviations / CAPA management during OQ / PQ phases
• Carrying out root cause analyses (microbiological origin) during the commissioning of an industrial water treatment plant
• Understanding of pipework and instrument flow diagram
• Supporting sample collection and management within controlled environments
• Identifying any opportunities for improvement of quality and service and work with the team to implement continuous improvement.
• Working accurately, and within GMP documentation systems (Trackwise, etc.)
