Our client, a major mining company, is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a 1-year contract in Kitimat, BC.

About the Role
• Ensures controls and processes are implemented throughout the execution of the works. These includes daily/weekly reports, schedule lookaheads, contractor resourcing plan, rash maps among many other available tools to monitor the progress of the works.
• Reviews and acknowledges (by signing on) daily work permits, JHA’s and any other field documentation to ensure controls are in place to enable works to be completed safely.
• Receives, validates, and communicate all daily progress updates.
• Assess works and daily progress updates.
• Conducts daily site HSE Inspections and Leadership in the Field activities.
• Keep track of all material movements within the contract (on site and off site)
• Ensure all shipping regulations are being adhered to
• Manage coordination of various contractors and RT groups to meet schedule
