About us:

Heron Lea Residential Home is a 13-bed service based in Witton, Norwich. The service has been in operation for over 20 years supporting adults aged 65 and over. The service is currently undergoing refurbishment and new ownership and we are looking for individuals with attention to detail and a dedication to their role in supporting vulnerable individuals living with dementia.

We have vacancies for Care Assistant (Bank staff) which consists of a 0-hour contact, providing you with flexibility to book shifts when available.

Principle responsibilities:
• To provide the regulated ‘Personal Care’ in line with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards. *This may include administration of medications which full training and competency assessment will be provided.
• To document all interactions with residents contemporaneously (as they occur) using our electronic recording system. Handsets are available for use provided by Heron Lea Residential Home.
