The Emily Hobhouse Museum to be opened in St Ive, near Liskeard, Cornwall (UK), has an exciting opportunity for a general manager. The role includes overseeing the visitor attraction shop, museum experience, kitchen garden and restaurant.

Requirements
• A qualification in hospitality management or business management.
• Relevant experience in hotel management, restaurant management or visitor attraction management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage a team.
• Experience of financial management.
• A passionate disposition and the ability to maintain high standards under pressure.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Interest in South African history will be advantageous.
