KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will be part of our engineering team with a focus on heavy electrical equipment and electrical systems typically found in power generation, heavy manufacturing facilities. Electrical equipment will include but will not be limited to:
• Assembles experimental motors, circuitry, and/or complete product prototypes using knowledge of electric motor design
• Research new design concepts Electric Motors and Generators and perform conceptual study. Support manufacturing, installation and set-up for Electrical Equipment and Systems of Mock up or Prototype in shop floor.
• Conversant with National / International Codes of Electrical Equipment Design & Testing.
• Responsible for Motor & Generator design & development for various application areas including electrical vehicle and hybrid vehicle applications.
• Electrical design of motor/generator & electromagnetic analysis using basic theorems.
