Main responsibilities:Contributes to timely andaccurate financial reporting:Ensure preparation and filing ofannual Italian statutory accounts with local authorities. HandlesJournal Entries, Reconciliations of the accounts.Interactions withFinance Shared Service (GFS) on locally managed matters that havean impact on the monthly close of the US accounts (i.e. Tax).Managecompliance of Indirect Taxes (VAT, property tax, waste disposal,other taxes) and Withholding (770 withholding taxreturn).Contributes to ad hoc projects to meet Emerson requirementsand business needsCooperate closely with Compliance function,Internal and External Auditors to ensure successful Audits.Requirements & QualificationsUniversity Degree in BusinessAdministration or Finance;At least 3 years experience in a Finance/Accounting /Audit role in multinational contest;Good knowledge ITAGAAP (US GAAP is a Plus);Fluent in English;Strong PC skillsincluding Excel.
