The Buyer II will plan and procure material to meet customer requirements at an optimal cost. Maintaining inventory levels, addressing shortages and supporting product evolution are daily functions.

This role is responsible for securing the necessary materials to meet the needs of our customers and the business.
• Set up, execution and maintenance of ordering parameters and MRP data.
• Ensure adherence to price and lead time established by contract.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance, days on hand and related quality issues.
• Identify suppliers that should be part of development programs and actively participate in those key projects
• Resolve supplier & data issues, (i.e. Price discrepancies, invoices discrepancies, receiving issues).
• Work with suppliers overseas and different cultural backgrounds to meet the supply needs of our business
• Train and provide leadership to new associates
• Represent the group in relevant meetings and act as a liaison
