Exide is looking for a BUYER to manage the purchase of a range of services and indirect products used at the Romano site. Main focus will be on general and maintenance services and CAPEX contracting, support to other indirect spend activities and group reporting.

Main tasks:
• Execution of the daily activities and development and execution of the sourcing strategies affecting the managed for the relevant commodities;
• Work effectively and efficiently with all key stakeholders in managing routine supply issues as well as in the development and execution of the sourcing solutions.
• Give consideration to Make or Buy, Rent or Buy, Outsourcing strategies.
• Identify and drive implementation of cost reduction and efficiency improvements affecting the managed commodities.
• Manage the purchase order process ensuring timely execution of purchase orders and securing on-time delivery.
