EFI was founded in March 2015 by PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia, Tbk and since April 2021 has transformed by positioning itself as an independent foundation that focuses on Mobilizing Indonesia's next generation to advance Indonesian agriculture with two main objectives: (1) helping farmers learn, innovate and adopt better agricultural management practices, supported by access to capital; and (2) young people and experts working together with farmers to increase agricultural productivity.
