• *Responsibilities:**

1. **Serial Number Verification:**

- Confirm that the serial number of the unit presented for repair matches the serial number being serviced.

2. **Component Replacement:**

- Diagnose failures in easily swappable components such as HDD, LCD, RAM, WLAN, keyboard, AC adapter, power cord, optical drive, CMOS battery, motherboard, or B-panel.

- Replace defective components and verify system functionality after replacement.

3. **System Replacement:**

- For failures not covered by component replacement, swap the keyboard, hard drive, battery, and optical drive from the defective system to a replacement system.

- Confirm the functionality of the replacement system after the swap.
