MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

Leads/supervises a team with the planning and logistics of organization meetings and special events.

Typically without budget or hire/fire authority.

Focuses on mentoring, coaching, and coordination.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees the activities at the company's congresses, promotions and events area, following established policies and guidelines.

• Completes complex research, write, design, and edit sales collateral that is effective and appropriate for the intended audience.

• Ensures the appropriate material is economically published and distributed.

• Leads the organising and attendance of seminars, trade shows, industry exhibitions, and other events so that potential customers have an opportunity to learn about the organization and its products and services.
