Biologists conduct fisheries, wildlife and/or habitat management projects and research studies including data collection, analysis and interpretation; develop and implement project proposals and work plans; prepare recommendations; and participate in public relations activities.Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.Incumbent will be responsible for Bull Trout management and implementing management actions to achieve objectives outlined in the 2015 Recovery Plan for the Coterminous United States Population of Bull Trout. The selected applicant will represent NDOW on the Jarbidge Core Area and Upper Snake River Unit teams which will include attending and organizing meetings and coordinating stakeholders including interagency partners, private landowners and industry, and anglers.
