Summary This position is located in the National Weather Service (NWS), Office of Observations (OBS), Radar Operations Center (ROC), Engineering Branch, with one vacancy in Norman, OK. Responsibilities As a Computer Engineer, you will perform the following duties: Leads projects focused on developing new software for the Nation's weather radar. Defines software build goals and master plans. Serves as a technical expert in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes in the fields of engineering, and computer science. Leads discussions among peers, external collaborators, and partners, facilitating the exchange of ideas and producing written guidance for the implementation of software development initiatives.
