Performs intermediate-advanced human support work providing ongoing individual and group psychotherapy and addiction counseling services for clients, implementing policies and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of services and conforms to all regulations and statutes, conducting assessments, developing and implementation person-centered treatment plans, assessing crisis needs and providing client advocacy, and related work as apparent or assigned.
Examples of Duties
• Utilizes a trauma-informed approach to provide counseling services and/or addiction therapy to individuals and groups including crisis management.
• Conducts diagnostic and DOT assessments including required paperwork.
• Manages electronic health record entries including treatment plans, case notes, and discharges.
• Participates in staffing and supervision; attends team meetings.
