Duties & Responsibilities

HR Audit:

• Strategy and structure alignment to stakeholder vision – exam HR strategy, the

consistency of plans and structure with the mission, vision, objectives, and plans of the

business

• Organization structure – examine functions to be performed, the levels and positions/job

titles.

• Job profiles – job profiles to reflect the responsibilities of the positions.

• Governance – cover all issues relating to how the business conducts itself e.g.,

employment and labour law, BBBEE, statutory reports required by government.

• Labour turnover analysis – succession, retention

• HR policies and procedures – examine existing policy and procedure manuals etc.

Staffing:

• Recruitment -review of requisition requests

• Selection

• Assessment

• Contract/letters of appointment

• Transfers, promotions, terminations, demotions

• Career/succession planning

• Termination of service
