Summary

Main Duties:

Administration
• To assist in the preparation of all required reports for the overall revenue management function of the hotel
• To attend relevant departmental communications meetings.
• To assist in the implementation of the hotel’s Sales Strategy (goals, tactics and actions) to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, and all other revenue departments.

Revenue Management
• To lead the revenue management function at the hotel, and ensure that proper reporting, and analysis is conducted, and relevant decisions are applied by the revenue management personnel at the hotel.
• To ensure that dynamic pricing is deployed for competitive advantage and based on the forecasted demand patterns
• To manage room’s inventory using the Central Reservation system and to ensure processes are in place to effectively manage overbooking, and room type management.
