About the role:

Reporting to our General Counsel, Company Secretary, you will be responsible for developing and embedding our risk management and compliance across the organisation and promoting and embedding a positive risk culture. You will also oversee and report on the effectiveness of risk management which includes compliance and internal audit. You will lead and develop initiatives to enhance risk management, awareness, knowledge and overall risk culture as well as providing advice to the business in balancing risk and reward.

Your key duties:
• Work with the Board to set risk appetite for CPA Australia that specifically addresses the existing risk profile, risk capacity and risk tolerance in line with the agreed business strategy.
• Lead, embed and maintain an effective risk management framework across CPA Australia with appropriate supporting approaches and methodologies.
