IT Assistant

My client, a leading Food Manufacturing Industry relocated in Monaghan, are in search of an IT Assistant to support the IT Manager and the wider business.

Main Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the upkeep, configuration and operations of client computers, data and security systems
• Maintaining company’s IT network and security systems
• Setting up workstations and laptops for new users
• Maintaining printers, scanners, and phone systems
• Maintaining network and wireless network
• Running the help desk and troubleshooting to identify root cause
• Providing technical support when needed

Criteria:
• Windows Desktop Support Technical qualification or similar
• 2 years’ experience within a desktop support role
• Compotia A+ or Network+ (desirable)
• Demonstrate risk management
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Problem solving skills
