Performs difficult skilled technical work educating the public on conservation programs and related County Ordinances, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the County Conservationist.
• Manages and provides technical assistance for the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) soil and water resource program, assists with bidding procedures, inspections, and certifications.
• Manages and provides plan review and annual inspection for Adams County non-metallic Mining Ordinance.
• Manages and provides plan review and inspection for Adams County storm-water runoff ordinance.
• Manages and assists with plan review and inspection for Adams County animal waste ordinance.
• Provides technical assistance to landowners of Adams County for the urban, rural, waterfront, non-waterfront conservation practices not eligible for grant funding.
