Role Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for repairing the daily wear and tear of the buildings and restaurants being operated by the Kicking Horse Resort. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will perform small plumbing, carpentry, and painting repairs as needed.

Accountabilities
• General repairs including furniture; doors and door closures with accessories, drywall repair, painting and touch-ups
• Plumbing responsibilities including repairs of toilets, urinals and sinks as well as hands-free activated plumbing
• Assist with repairs and maintenance in the kitchens and on heating equipment
• Carpentry duties including building and maintaining shelves, cabinets, sign bases ect.
• Maintain records of work completed and report on all shop related activities
• Initiate, manage and delegate daily work assignments with minimal supervision
