Job Summary:

You will be responsible for independently negotiating and maintaining the best pricing for new items and for recurring items within designated contracts. You will provide technical review of parts and drawings and maintain database for on-going technical data updates from customers. In addition, you will maintain a sufficient supplier base per item to meet contact specifications.

Key Deliverables and Responsibility:
• Cultivate relationships with suppliers for the assigned contracts. Maintains supply chain redundancy where possible to achieve best cost and quality
• Work to continuously improve costs and drive down supply lead times. Establishes tiered supplier cost on an individual item basis
• Responsible for obtaining current pricing, lead time and performing data entry. Manage workload for assigned commodities and/or specific contract items
