As per the Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı, the minimum wage for security guards in Turkey is 30.000 TL net per month as of January 2026. Overtime pay must be calculated at 1.5 times the hourly rate for hours exceeding 45 per week.

As per the İçişleri Bakanlığı, applicants must hold at least a primary school diploma and complete a 120-hour private security training course. No prior experience is mandated but a clean criminal record from the past 5 years is compulsory.

As per the İçişleri Bakanlığı, required documents include ID card, health report, criminal record certificate, and training completion certificate submitted via e-Devlet by 31 March 2026. The license fee is 2.500 TL payable to the local police department.

As per the Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı, security guards work a maximum of 45 hours per week with at least 14 days of annual paid leave after one year of service. Night shifts receive an additional 15% premium on the base wage.
