As per the Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı, the minimum wage for plumbers in Turkey is 21,450 TL per month as of 1 January 2026, including the 8.5% employer social security contribution share. Overtime beyond 45 hours per week must be paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate of 143 TL.

As per the Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı, plumbers in Turkey are limited to 45 hours per week under standard contracts as of 2026, with mandatory 24 consecutive hours of rest each week. Any work exceeding this triggers overtime at 1.5 times the base rate starting from the 46th hour.

As per the Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı, plumbers must hold a valid MYK Level 4 vocational qualification certificate issued after passing the national plumbing exam, which costs 850 TL to take in 2026. Without this certificate, employers cannot legally register the worker for social security.

As per the Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı, applicants must provide a valid MYK plumbing certificate, national ID, SGK registration number, and a recent health report from a public hospital dated within the last 6 months. Employers are required to upload these to the e-Devlet system within 5 working days of hiring.
