Position description:

Operations - Officer - Currency Chest

Primary Responsibilities:
• Collect cash from the Custodians in morning and put the same in respective branch cash boxes on the basis of i-Chest Withdrawal Request and locking the box.
• Ensuring that cash van limit is not exceeded at all times both while sending cash to the branches & while picking up cash from the branches.
• Accompanying Cash Vans for delivery & pickup of cash from branches. Also assisting bank staff as a joint escort for cash movement to other bank currency chests/branches & RBI
• Witness the processing of soiled note remittance at RBI & sample counting / verification of Issuable cash diversion to other banks.
