Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities
• Category Manager - Responsible for Sourcing and Development of category parts at optimum cost and with acceptable quality.
• Identification, assessment and approval of potential suppliers for Category.
• Development of parts as per work package of Localisation, outsourcing projects and inline with timely launch of new products.
• First time right sample approval.
• Workflow clearance, RFQ, Zero Based Costing, price comparison, approval request and sample approval.
• Comparison of Technical Specifications for part approval
• Agreements with all applicable suppliers
• Develop and implement Category Strategy
• Achieve DPPM and OTD targets for Incoming material
• Increase localisation content and reduce lead time.
• Align with Global Category Manager
• Resolve CORN issues with prompt actions.
• Monitoring of Inventory and safety stock.
