THEMA S.A. the Operation and Maintenance company of Metro Thessaloniki is looking for a candidate in order to fulfill the position of Railway Safety Specialist.

Responsibilities
• Perform the role of Lead Auditor in Railway Safety Audits and Operational Inspections
• Prepare railway safety-related documents, conduct railway safety reviews and ensure implementation
• Follow up on the application of railway safety procedures proactively
• Assess the safety measures, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines
• Develop training materials for internal courses related to railway safety and conducting training in collaboration with the training department
• Coordinate inputs to/from the Central Hazard Log
• Risk assessment of changes and railway safety-related processes
• Assist as investigation manager when investigating rail safety incidents
• Participating in railway safety meetings and railway safety committee meetings
