Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Provides leadership, strategy and tactics to enable continuous improvement in occupational health, safety and environmental matters;
• Recommends safety and environmental improvement KPIs for plant use and assesses trend information for problem-solving and decision-making;
• Serves as the subject matter expert for EHS legal requirements and recommends related best practices, tools, processes and initiatives;
• Conducts assessments to determine legal and company standards gaps and improvement needs for EHS;
• Manages applications and amendments for environmental permits, licenses and authorizations and co-determines with operations and maintenance follow-up responsibilities and recordkeeping;
• Manages and documents the interface with regulatory authorities, both verbal and written;
