Position: Senior Manager - Sports Content Acquisitions

Purpose: The position is responsible for the acquisition of sports; Managing relationships with sports bodies, sports marketing agencies and broadcasters to enable the company to achieve its strategic and financial goals, and positioning the sports network’s brand in the market in which it operates.

Education: Post Graduate Diploma in Management

Experience: 7-10 years minimum

Location: Mumbai

Reporting Relationship: Head - Content Acquisition, Licensing, Programming Strategy and Insights

Business/Channel/Function: Channel Sony Ten Sports

Key Responsibilities:

Content Acquisition Strategy:
• Provide inputs to the Head of for the creation of the network’s content acquisition for Sports basis inputs from available content across the globe, revenue potential from the content, inputs from the research and insights team, market feasibility from Ad Sales, competition, and budgets.
